Our folders take a long time to sync. Stating 8 users, and not 4 that the team has.
There are four of us in the office, each having folders to sync to DropBox, we have been having to wait an extremely long time for them to sync. I checked on my PC today and it said 8 users were syncing, showing each user's name AND the TEAM! Eight not Four... WHY? I've never seen that before, does the system really think 8 users are syncing? Please help... I have no idea what is going on!

Hi msdesigning, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify what you mean by seeing the number of users trying to sync files?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

I'm not at the office now, but it showed each employee's name PLUS the XXX TEAM name (each person's name was under that also - for a total of 8 trying to sync!

When you get a chance to get a screenshot, since I'm not sure where you're seeing this information, please reply to this message with what you're seeing in order to look into this.

Out of interest msdesigning what version of Dropbox and OS are you using as I'm seeing similar. Files / renames and things are not updating as quickly as they should (10+ minutes in some cases)

Windows 11 Pro and the newest version of Dropbox—we have fiber internet, but the files are taking forever to sync!

the newest version of Dropbox
Which is? There are many many versions classed as new and stable.
Mouse over its icon to find the version number like 208.x.y

Hey msdesigning - have you tried rebooting your computers and internet router(s) since you first noticed this?
Also, does adjusting your bandwidth settings via the app's preferences improve matters at all?

I tried rebooting, the internet router will be next, and I'll check bandwidth! Thank you.
