Out of Sync and the app is logging out
I just realized that my laptop is out of sync and currently the application is logging out. And the data was not synchronized for 1-2 month ago. Can i recover my file?

Could you please clarify your device's OS version and the version and status of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your system tray/menu bar?
Do you see any versions of your missing file in your deleted files page or the events page perhaps?
