Renewing password for sharing files

<looking for someone to help me out with setting up passwords for sharing files...>

I had no trouble sharing files and documents by setting up passwords by both browser and apps until last month.... Since last month, all my files and documents on dropbox seem to have pre-set passwords... I've tried to overwrite passwords or I've tried to delete the link and reset the password but every time I close and reopen the browser or window on apps, those pre-set passwords come back and my colleagues tell me they can't open those files. And I have no clue what the pre-set password is....

I must have done something wrong but I just don't know how to fix this. Would be great if anyone can help me out with this.

Sorry to see you're having trouble with setting passwords for your shared links, amy0828.

Would you mind sending us a couple of screenshots of the process you're following and where you get stuck with these preset passwords?

Just make sure you hide any personal info from the screenshots.

Also, have you tried doing this from a different browser or a private browsing window?

Thanks in advance for your reply!
