Device
Xiaomi
Operating System/Browser (if using the web)
HyperOS 2.0
Question or Issue
Hi everyone,
I'd like to have a shortcut to a Dropbox specific folder on Android phone screen. But if I try to add a widget to the screen, the Dropbox app does not appear... The instruction found on this page do not work at all: https://help.dropbox.com/organize/android-create-folder-shortcut. How can I solve it? Thanks

I have an Android phone too (Galaxy Ultra) and the instructions work perfect for me. So your difficulty is most likely coming from the fact that you're using a Xiaomi device.
On Xiaomi devices (MIUI or HyperOS), widgets can be harder to find because the UI sometimes nests them under Widgets, Add widgets, or a launcher-specific panel.
First, makesure Dropbox is updated to the latest version. If Dropbox isn’t listed under Widgets, clear the cache for your launcher (usually System Launcher) and check again, or temporarily switch to the default Xiaomi launcher if you’re using a third-party launcher.
