Hi there - I've been trying for a day now - to update pics to a new file.  It will stop syncing after the same picture - with 300 more left to go.  Its says "In Queue".  Internet is fine, logged out twice - the first 178 pics upload fine - but get stuck on the same picture each time - and syncing stops

Hi eng4ever and HBW21! I hope you’re both doing great.

Can you let me know a few more details on this, as a first step? For example, what’s the exact app version of the Dropbox app you’re running, as well as its uploading speed?

Also, what’s the exact OS version of your devices?

    That’ll help me assist further.

    Thanks for that, eng4ever!

Are you having speed issues with Dropbox only when trying to upload files via the desktop app?

When did you start noticing this issue? Have you set any bandwidth restrictions that could affect the app’s syncing speed?

I waiting a few days - and after Xmas - it went back to normal.  Jpegs uploaded no problem and quick - over 500.  That didn't happen prior to Xmas. I didn't change anything - other than logging out and logging back in again a few times.  It appears to be fixed now - but this does happen on occasion.

... me too. i came to forums, searched "slow" and found many mac complaints within past year... something is funny here. I am also on fast internet.

I noticed dropbox is overall slow. Making file OR folder moves on dropbox . com ( WEB ) is slow and never seems to verify that operation is completed successfully. i notice many of my move requests time out and do not complete. i come back after a day of patience and its looks like many of the moves were only partially completed making my overall trust/love for dbox go down by the day... 😞

( im going to paste this same message to dropbox support ticket and see what they say... just wanted you to know im experiencing similiar slowness and pain. )

Hi alexalesi0; I’m sorry to hear you’re having a similar issue.

Are you experiencing the same thing if you try to move files from different browsers, as well?
