Some files/folders don't sync from the web to my Windows desktop app.
Dear all,
I need some help to get my files to synced on my laptop.
I'm using Windows 11, and the icon in the task bar informs me that all my files are up to date (properly synced).
The windows explorer says that some (not all) dropbox folders haven't synced yet.
Everything looks fine on the website.
Some files and folders are on the website but not on my hard drive.
I have not exceeded the storage limit.
I've used Windows7 to create the files and folders that are not syncining. So there shouldn't be a problem with characters.
How can I get the files to sync on my Windows11 laptop?
I've tried restarting the computer.
I've tried stopping and restarting the synchronization.
All help is much appreciated,
Juergen
Thanks Nancy for getting in touch.
I just uninstalled and re-installed dropbox. Previous users had tried this and it didn't solve their problem.
It seems to have worked for me!
And yes, I have all my folders set to be available offline and everything to be synced at all times.
The taskbar icon now says that dropbox is syncing more than 25.000 files.
Best,
Juergen

Hi JuergenLandes! Thanks for your post.
Can you send me a screenshot of what you see when opening your File Explorer > Dropbox folder, so that I may have a visual?
As for the folders you’re not seeing on your desktop app, have they been unchecked in your selective sync settings here?
Let me know when you have more info.
