synchronizing on Mac has stopped
Synchronizing on my Mac stopped working. Re-installing Dropbox did not solve this.
Anyone suggesties how to solve this?

Hi Mark4818, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you clarify exactly what you mean by the syncing has stopped?
What message do you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon in the menu bar? Do the files in the Dropbox folder have any syncing icons on them?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Jay, after having (re)installed Dropbox at my new MacBook, actually no files at all appear in the Dropbox folder.
The Macbook itself is recognized and connected to my Dropbox account.

Hey ALBERTO70, sorry to hear about this.
Could you send us a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar at the moment?
If the number of files the app is trying to index or sync has not reduced for a while now it might be worth checking out the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article.
In any case, keep us posted!
