Unable to see folders shared with me

Hello, 

 

I am new to Dropbox and, with my new role I need Dropbox for various aspects. The problem I am experiencing is my boss will share with me her Dropbox files but they never come through to me. 

 

What do I need to do to correct this?

    Can you let us know how these files or folders were shared with you?

     

    Did your boss send you a link to the folders or did you receive an email invite to join/add the folders to your account?

     

    Any additional info would be really helpful.
