Backup - You've reached the device limit for your work account.

Backup:  You've reached the device limit for your work account.

I am the owner and admin of my Dropbox Business Advanced (Sophisticated admin features and as much space as you need).

I have added backup for three external hard drives and now getting a message that I have reached my device limit. There is no limit in any of my settings, nor can I find a limitation in the Dropbox plan.

Why am I getting this message, and how can I continue adding a few more hard drives?

Hey MeelisV, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community.

Do you perhaps have 3 licenses on your team?

Because the number of external drive backups your team can have, is equal to the number of licenses.

You can read more about this and about managing Dropbox backup for your team here.
