Haha.,,😁 It's not any visual bug for sure.
There are some units differences used by different online systems and by different file managers. Some of them assume the classical Si standard: 1k=1000, 1M=1000k, 1G=1000M, etc.
On informational units classical way of measure is: 1k=1024, 1M=1024k, 1G=1024M, etc. (something used by Dropbox).
Do you know when you look at your files/folders locally (especially their size) what type of units are in use? If I have to bet, the difference you noticed comes from different types of units in use. 😉 To avoid mistakes always use Bytes(the basic unit) for comparison, not their derivatives, so always will be the same. Unfortunately Dropbox doesn't always shows the values in Bytes. 🤷 On some places (some telecoms for instance) could be seen even mixtures of units - technically stupid way for marketing tricks.
