Dropbox downloading files I open to my laptop and my storage is full
Hi, I have uploaded all my work files to dropbox and when I open the files dropbox seems to download the files to my laptop. How do I find the duplicate files? I also obviously want to ensure I don't delete files that aren't duplicates.

Hi there Ang01 - thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!
It sounds like you may have enabled the Dropbox Backup feature for your computer's Downloads folder.
If that's the case, you can disable it through the app's preferences as outlined here.
Let me know if this helps!
