Dropbox full
My Dopbox would be full and according to Dropbox it contains 9.77Gb. Only if I count the files, I don't get more than 1.04Gb. Also don't see shared folders as a problem. What is going on?

Exactly the same, but I dont read anywhere a proper solution. I use dropbox many years. But last year my account seems to shrink shrink shrink. I use only 500MB from a buildup 6.5 GB, where is my 6 GB free space?

Hi Edwin Walberg, how are you today?
Have you checked for any shared content, that could be taking up space on your account? Also, what about any backups?
Let me know more!

Yes 1 folder was indeed shared (595MB) Stopped sharing and also deleted. But this still leaves me of 5.5 GB of space I miss which is not used in my present Dropbox folder.
At This moment I use only 443 MB, so I should have 5.8 GB left of free space.

I apologize, I missed a 5.8 GB file in my backup which I was not aware of 🙂
Thank you so much for your help. - Hannah4 years ago

Hi Pantelis Petrakis, have you calculated the size of the folders on your account to see where the quota usage is being taken up?
Keep me updated with any progress!
