Dropbox is eating all of my diskspace: I only want one small folder available to dropbox. HELP!!!
I only have one small folder of MS documents that I want available on all of my devices. Somehow, Dropbox is now backing up all of my folders and has totally consumed my drive. How do I free up all of that space and stop dropbox from backing up everything (and select the one small folder that I originally targeted)? I have a dropbox basic plan. That's all I need.

Dropbox Staff
Hey there Moroccokid, welcome to our Community!
If your hard drive is running out of space and you want to remove some folders from your Dropbox folder on your computer but not your Dropbox account, you can selectively sync them.
Please bear in mind that you can remove or keep just entire folders. So, what you can do is you can save this particular file in a separate folder, and choose to sync just this one.
I hope this helps, but don't hesitate to get back to me if you have any other questions!
