Dropbox keeps saying that my account is full, even after removing content.

I only keep the 2GB plan so I regularly delete files after I don't need to share them via links. I have managed to keep my storage between about 1.7 and 1.9 GB regularly. If I get a message that says I am using all my storage I just go in and delete files and that fixes everything. Lately, I have deleted files and put my storage use down below 2GB but then the next day DB says I'm full again. It has happened for three days in a row. I delete, get under 2GB, then the next day I'm full. What is going on? I don't have any shared folders and I don't have Backup set up.

Hey TMJ1726, let's see what we can find together about that!

Would you mind sending over a screenshot of your plan page, in order for me to have a visual of what it reports there?

Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Thanks for the screenshot TMJ1726 - much appreciated.

From what I see, there are some shared files taking up space on your account as well and those are putting you over your account's quota limit. Do you need to keep those in your account?

If not, you can delete them or remove your access to make up some space.
