Getting a message that my account is full even after deleting my files

I received a message that my drop box is full. I deleted all my Dropbox files on all of my devices plus the cloud.
I still get a message that says my Dropbox is full please upgrade. If I upgrade will the same thing happen in a month?

Have you checked your Backups page? If you don't see anything there, take a screenshot of your usage as shown on your Plan page, and post it here. It should look like this:

Hey albertoc - sorry to hear about this.

Can you please clarify what's shown in your plan tab in regards to your quota?

I had a 2 TB DropBox account, but I no longer need that much space, so I didn't renew my 2TB subsciption and was downgraded to the Basic account (2 GB). I deleted practically all files on my old DropBox account: the only folder left is less than 2 MB (1.6 to be precise) but I still receive and error message stating that my DropBox is full and that I am using 149 GB! I checked whether I had backup files but it is not the case.

Hi there Ray5809 - sorry to hear about this.

Could you clarify if you're referring to an in-app notification, a web notification or an email notification?

Also, what is your account's plan tab showing in regards to your quota?

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there.
