Solved

I've deleted over 1Gb of files and I'm still getting an out of space message

As title says, I should have over 1Gb of remaining space. I do not have Dropbox synced to a desktop folder. Why is the out-of-space message still appearing when I try to link a shared folder (folder is much smaller than 1Gb)?

  • Hey WillsCME, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

Could you please let us know what's reported in your plan tab in regards to your quota?

If you can also send us a screenshot of the error you're getting along with the exact steps you're taking, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks!

My mistake, the shared file was over 1 Gb, contrary to what the sender initially informed me. OK to mark as solved.
