My Dropbox is full, but I deleted everything.

I keep getting the message that my Dropbox has stopped syncing because it's full.  So, I moved or deleted almost everything, yet I still get the message.  How can this be?  I want everything gone so I can start again.

Have you checked your Backups page? Share a screenshot of your usage as shown on your Plan page. It would look like this:

I checked the Backups page, and I disabled backing up to my PC.

But why does backing up on my PC count against my storage space?  I am concerned about what's stored in the cloud.  I can't even check what is on the cloud.  It just keeps telling me it's "full".
