No files in my account, but Dropbox says it's full and it's not syncing
At the beginning of the year, I deleted everything in my Dropbox account, including shared files. It says I'm using 22.77 GB of data. I erased all pictures, documents, backups and shared files. What is it storing and why is no longer updating and synching? It should be ZERO.

Hey CJMH, hope you're doing well and thanks for your post.
Are you seeing that you're still over-quota on your Plan page? Or are you seeing this on your desktop app instead?
Feel free to send me a couple of screenshots, and I’ll have a look.
Ping me, when you’re ready.

But what does your Plan page show for usage? It would look like the image below. Take a screenshot of that from your account.

Here's the space listing. I erased everything in January or February, including the backup, and waited 60 days. No change.
