Storage saying that is almost full but my Dropbox is empty and keeps asking me to spend money, why?

My storage is empty .. completely and it is asking me to spend money to get more space ... it says that I have 3.97 gigas used out of 4 gigas ...but it is empty.. i have nothing stored!

    For the ones that have had the same issue ... you have to check Dropbox back up ...

    Have you checked your Backups page?
