Where are the extra files that are making me going over the 2GB free limit?
I have a Windows 10 machine that is showing that I only have 1.3 GB in Dropbox under Windows Explorer. (I have the free version of Dropbox.)
And yet I'm receiving a warning that I've used over 2GB and need to upgrade.
I deleted and turned off my backup but the warning is still there. I did restart Dropbox.
Where is the extra 1GB of files and how do I get rid of them?
Hi aureliozl3, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Is it possible you have the backup still visible on your account?
Keep me updated with any progress!

Brilliant, Jay , I thought I'd deleted that backup but it was still there. Deleting it freed me from the problem.
Thanks much.
