Why is my storage space different than my wife's when we uploaded the same files?
My wife and I both have Dropbox Standard accounts on our respective iPads. We both uploaded the same (music) files from our choral website. Her upload occupied less than 500 MB. Mine filled my account with over 2 GB. I don’t understand why, or how to fix mine.

Hi there CaptDon - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please take a look at your plan tab and let me know what exactly is reported there in regards to your quota and compare it with your wife's plan tab too?
Also, do you see the exact same files on your accounts online? How did you upload them in the first place?
Any additional information or screenshots would be much appreciated!

Following your link to the plan tab, I found that, out of my 2.3G of storage used, 2.2 is “backup”. That appears to be the problem. I couldn’t find my wife’s “plan tab”, but her total storage is far less than a gig (and she has the same folder/files as me plus many additional from prior.
Each file in my folder is approx. 4MB, and the folder contains about 30 such files, so far less than a gigabyte.
So, how do I eliminate the backup files??
