AFTER INSTALLING NEW VERSION DROPBOX WARNS ME TO INSTALL A NEW VERSION
Hi,
I'm sorry for my bad English. I'm trying to update dropbox with my laptop but when the automatic download is completed I try to type my username and password to log in but there's a warning massage inviting me to download the new version.
Hope my request is clear.
Help me go on please.
Thanks everyone.

Which version does it say you are using when you mouse over the Dropbox icon?
What OS is installed?

Thanks for answering.
Just unistalled Dropbox and that version was the one that starts downloading as the last one. My OS is Windows 11.

The version is 156.4.4908 automatically dowloaded and installed. I can't log in.

That is a VERY outdated version of Dropbox if I'm honest.
We are currently on 186.x
Can you try updating from https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Desktop-client-builds/ct-p/101003000 ?

Installed 187.4.5691 and that's the screenshot "IMPOSSIBILE ESEGUIRE L'ACCESSO. RIPROVA" means "UNABLE TO LOG IN. TRY AGAIN"

Thanks for this screenshot, marckitekt. Can you clarify what’s the plan of the Dropbox account you’re trying to sign in? Is it a free Basic account, or a paid one?
Also, do you have any VPN/antivirus/firewall/proxy that could be interfering with the Dropbox app?
If yes, please try to temporarily disable it, and let me know if it makes a difference.

It is a 2 TB paid one. I use AVG Antivirus with paid license and the installation was unsuccessful even though I disabled AVG before installing Dropbox.
Thanks for helping.

Hi marckitekt, If you're not on a Dropbox Basic plan with more than 3 devices connected, could you try an advanced reinstall of the app using the steps in this link?

Yes I could, thanks.
