Can I sync any folder on my drive to dropbox except the Dropbox folder?

Hello, Can I sync any folder on my drive to dropbox except the Dropbox folder?

No, Dropbox application syncs only the Dropbox folder (and everything within, of course).

When she said "Any changes you make to those folders on your computer or in Dropbox will continuously sync to both." I think she's referring to the folders in the local Dropbox folder and the folders in the Dropbox account online; not two different folder locations on the drive.
