Can we enable Online-Only via the registry for VDI users?

Hello, does anyone know if there is a way to enable Online Only via the registry for users that log into a VDI? We don't want to change the setting via admin panel and only want it Online Only when they log into a VDI and not their physical pc. Kind of like Onedrive has the enable files on demand that can be set via GPO.

    While using Dropbox on a VDI is not a setup we currently support or can advise on, I will leave this thread open, so other users with similar setups can chime in.
