Cannot connect Mac to Dropbox

Dear all,

Wanted to connect my Mac to an existing Dropbox.
I used the same user email (not a Google).
It downloaded the app. After typing username and password Dropbox sends a verification code to the email.
After typing this verification code it says: a problem occurred.
I tried it several times, so failure is not, that I made mistype of verification code.
I made a hardcopy of error message.

Someone has an idea, what I shall do?

    thanks a lot for your reply.

    After typing the user and password, the message "an error occurs" appeared. Nevertheless I could solve the problem now. I made "rest password" and used the same password as it was before. Otherwise I would to adapt the PW in all devices I used with dropbox. By this process, I could solve the problem.

    So, if somebody has the same problem, this is how the problem is solved: reset password.

    Can you please send us a screenshot of this error message, so we can look into it?

     

    Also, which version of macOS are you running on your computer?

     

    Any additional info you can think of, would be really helpful.
