Can't start newly installed Dropbox - MacBook Air running Sonoma -

Hi

I can't get Dropbox to open after re-installing it on my MacBook Air. I recently upgraded to Sonoma.

The drop box icon on the menu bar top right appears (greyed) but then I get a box appear saying 'can't start dropbox....' Restarting MacBook made no difference.

anyone had any nifty solutions?
