Hey RCC2, let's jump right into this!
If I understand the situation here correctly: it sounds like you wanted to re-install the desktop app, however it didn't keep the same Dropbox folder location path when you did that.
Is that correct?
The first thing we need to check, is if the app is fully synced, or still updating at the moment. Would you mind checking the app's current syncing status, please?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

After reinstalling I am referring to the same location but it opens a new file after the same location That is, the program cannot recognize the old location

Hey RCC2, when you access the app's preferences, and specifically under your Sync tab, which location do you see there?
Did you manage to check the app's current syncing status, in order for me to be able to see if everything is fully synced or not?

Hey RCC2 - sorry to jump in here, but it seems that you're choosing a folder that already contains a Dropbox folder.
Could you try the folder that's one level above the Dropbox location and let us know how it goes?

try choice the D:/
They will direct you to a wrong folder, and even if you delete the wrong folder, you won't be able to go to the correct folderD:/ (Original_)

If the situation is urgent, can I contact you directly by email?

@RCChan, when reinstalling the Dropbox app and signing back in to it, you’ll need to click on the “Advanced Settings” link, and then choose the parent folder of the already established Dropbox folder.
For example, if you have your Dropbox folder in the path "D:\OtherDrive\Folder\Team Name Dropbox" you'll want to select the folder "D:\OtherDrive\Folder".
Other than that, I can see you’ve opened a ticket with our support team. If you wish, feel free to continue with them and they'll further help; I’ve also left them an internal note on your behalf.
