Dropbox account with Windows 11 no longer syncs content. What can I do?

I have Dropbox on my Android phone and all works fine when taking photos they sync and go into Dropbox. My laptop previously had Windows 10 and everything synced up fine and I could see all the photos on laptop.
Recently upgraded to Windows 11 but cannot get the Dropbox App to show all the historic photos as seen on the phone app.
How do I get to the correct account so as to sync everything backup correctly.
A clue in my name to my age so please reply in a language I can understand. i.e nothing to technical 😁
Trevor

Are you signed in to the same account on both devices? If not, you won't see the same content on each device. When you sign in to the app on your computer, make sure you're using the same email address that you used when you signed in to the app on your phone.

Thanks Rich. I appear to have set up a new account with another email account and now having logged on with gmail account everything is there.
I originally had a tab on my laptop as a shortcut . How do I get it back?
    Cheers

Hi TrevorB1948, let's jump right into this!

Based on everything you described, it sounds like your Windows device is syncing with the new account you created, and not with the one you used on your mobile app.

If this isn't the case, don't hesitate to let me know. You'd need to follow these steps, in order to sign out of the app, and sign back in using the correct Dropbox account.

Give time for everything to sync, and you should be all set. I hope this helps!

    Hi Megan
My Gmail account syncs and all my files and photos are available through the laptop. I have however lost the shortcut tab on the desktop and do not know how to get it back. So any assistance in that would be helpful.
    Thanks

Hi Trevor, can you do a quick re-install without uninstalling the app, just to check if this will remedy things?
