Dropbox app on pc will not open on Windows 11
I'm setting up a new Dell desktop with Windows 11.
The Dropbox app seems to install ok, but clicking it in the Start menu has no result. App does not open.
If I look in Task Manager I see 10 instances of Dropbox running. I've end tasked all of them and rebooted, does not help.
Have reinstalled it 3 more times, same result every time.
I've researched online and tried all the fixes I found, including uninstalling and then going into the registry and deleting all instances of Dropbox.
Removed my antivirus and just enabled Defender.
Allowing Dropbox access in the Windows Firewall.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi there Vincenzo99 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you temporarily disable any antivirus, firewall and/or VPN/proxy setting you might have running on your computer and try the offline installer from this page?
If you're on the Basic plan, make sure you're not connecting more than 3 devices to your account as you might hit the device limit.
Keep me posted!

Thanks for the info.
I finally got it working. Did the things you suggested and some others, and then tried again and it connected ok.
Thank you for the help.
