Dropbox App won't launch
I have a Huawei laptop with latest Windows (are we on 11 now?)
Dropbox App icon is still in menu bar but when i click it it won't launch - the 'buffering' wheel runs for a few seconds but then just stops and disappears.
I can still access the folders through explorer, and the web version through the browser.

Hi there Benjo70 - sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Have you tried rebooting your computer since you first noticed this?
Also, do you happen to be running any antivirus or other security apps that might be causing this?
If so, you can temporarily disable them and try again.
In any case, please keep us posted!

Thank you! I have recently rebooted (yesterday) with a windows update.
I'm running Avast, I did wonder about that. I'm not sure how to disable it without removing it, but I have logged it with them as a potential issue.

Sorry to jump in here, Benjo70.
When you simply hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray with your mouse, can you let us know what you see?

AH! I was trying to launch it from the Dropbox Icon in the taskbar (which is blue, and when i hover over i get a little bubble that says 'Dropbox') I can see now that if I go to System Tray, rather than taskbar, it is there and I can open it. Thank you
So not exactly resolved but good enough for me i think?
