CCURTIN1 - which version do you have? I haven't seen a new one come for a few days. I'm on 270.2.2 and it's not working.

latest DropBox apps update solved it. Its working fine now for me. Thanks DropBox!
- Bcfour4 years agoExplorer | Level 3Still not working here. Very frustrating.
- Jeffmik4 years agoExplorer | Level 4I'm in the beta and haven't received an update but went to APK mirror and found 270.2.4 Hopefully I dodged all the spammy bull**bleep** links but it does seem to have been fixed in this version.

thats odd. im on beta program too. but I got the DropBox apps update over the last weekend, and its working fine now.
- BTECSM4 years agoExplorer | Level 4Yes now it's running for me on my pixel 6pro android 12.1 also again!
Didn't notice an update of the app...
Maybe it was server related? - Jeffmik4 years agoExplorer | Level 4It definitely wouldn't work when I had 270.2.2 - manually installing 270.2.4 did the trick. 4 or 5 updates in the last month didn't work, guess they finally looked into it.
- Bcfour4 years agoExplorer | Level 3I stand corrected. I had to grab 270.2.4 from APK mirror, but it does work!! First time in a month that I've been able to log on.
Not sure why I'm only seeing 270.2.2 in the play store, but I can confirm that the newest version is working for me! - chrchr4 years agoNew member | Level 2Recent Update 270.2.4 works.
Thanks - Dreem20014 years agoHelpful | Level 5Neither 270.2.4 nor later apps do not work. I have not seen Dropbox alive after upgrading Android to 12.1
- Dreem20014 years agoHelpful | Level 5Thanks, Hannah for replying.
Yes, deleting, wiping storage, installing manually, upgrading do not help. Installed almost all versions one by one but no luck 😊
The behavior is the same: if starting from scratch, after logging in, the phone starts blinking fast and infinite verification of OTP. Or if upgrade: it switches to white background with text about upgrading something. 🙄 - Jay4 years ago

Could you attach a video of what you're describing regarding the upgrade prompt you're seeing?

I have the same problem with blinking screen - Google Pixel 3, last updates installed
This blinking happens only with first run application after installation. If I run app next one, just blue dropdox screen appears.

Hello @Jay, thank you for your response!
I tried using only cellular data - the problem remained
Then I tried to use VPN service - and I moved to step further where I had to input security code (which I successfully received on my email), but when I wrote it, I received the same flashing screen 😞

Do you have any service on the phone which could be preventing the app from accessing official Dropbox domains, or any kind of battery saving measure?
- Dreem20014 years agoHelpful | Level 5Thanks for replying guys and video. I have Pixel 4XL and Android 12.1. Just a pure OS without any battery saving or any other settings.
I captured two cases: clean install and drop storage.

If you can't find it there, you might want to take a look at your spam/junk folder as well.
Otherwise, just let me know here and I'll open a new ticket for you to look further into this issue.
