i have this exact same issue and i have tried rebooting just keep getting the red 1 dot up on the dropbox icon
(macbook pro ventura M1)
i have even tried downloading the new installer from your site and reinstalling. same thing happens.

same problem with a MacBook Pro Core i7 : Ventura 13.0.1 and 13.1
I detected than DB install the v163.4
But on the second MacBook it's the v164.4 and no problem

This problem seems to affect many users, but we have scant information from DropBox as to what causes the issue or what efforts are being made to fix it. It doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.
