Dropbox hangs at "starting"
After installing Ventura to my Macbook Dropbox hangs at "starting". No synching is occurring as a result.
I have deleted and reinstalled the app twice but this doesn't solve the problem.

Hey there llewelyn, sorry to hear about this.
Did you reboot your computer at all since you first noticed this?
If you did and this persists, can you please send us a screenshot of the app's exact status as shown in your menu bar at the moment?
Do you happen to be running an antivirus, firewall or even VPN/proxy that could be causing issues perhaps?
Any additional information is more than welcome!

Thanks. I upgraded to Ventura. Upon doing so Dropbox no longer functions. Dropbox functioned before this fine.
I have: 1) rebooted; 2) reinstalled Ventura; 3) reinstalled Dropbox; 4) logged out and in from Dropbox. None of these solutions have worked. I can access folders/files online via browser.
This is the animated image I receive.

Thanks for the screenshot, llewelyn!
One more thing I'd like you to clarify; does your local Dropbox folder contain close to 300k files perhaps?
What I'd like you to do, if possible, is to remove a few folders from your desktop app by using selective sync, and let me know if that helps at all.
If it doesn't, please send me the app version of your Dropbox app, as well.
