Hey Ted G., thanks for bringing this to our attention and sorry to see you're having trouble.
Would you mind giving us a bit more info here?
Are you getting some kind of error message when you try to run the installer? Or is nothing happening at all?
Have you tried the offline installer instead, to see if that works?
Let me know how it goes.

@hannah I have the same problem with the mac air with m2 chip. De installer does nothing, no error (I can see). Just a click with no response.

Hey joostfroon, sorry to jump in, but have you rebooted your computer since you first noticed this?
If you did and this persists, can you download the installer from our website through the 'install Dropbox app' button shown when you click on your avatar on the upper right corner of your screen?

Hi Antonio V.1, could you try switching browsers to download another copy of the installer and see if that one works?

I've fixed this by downloading the apple silicon beta installer version 140.3.1903. It seems to correctly install the latest dropbox version for silicon. This should have been your first suggestion.
You guys need to fix this instead of asking people to download the intel installer or change browsers. - seanshli3 years agoNew member | Level 2
when you launch dropbox installer download, nothing happened... that is the issue

Hi seanshli, have you tried the suggestions in this thread to see if a new version of the app could be downloaded?

I had the same problem on my new Macbook Pro M2, but the offline installer solved it.

Can please anybody explain how to make dropbox for on a m2 macbook air.
Please, just post a link to the right download link.
Downloaded several versions of dropbox installer. After installing and signing it, the blue square are moving... and moving... but nothing happens. So annoying! 😞
