Dropbox never finishes syncing

I am running Dropbox on Fedora Linux.  It's been working for a long time but as of two days ago, it never stops syncing.  Previously, all files were up to date but then it just says syncing.  I've let it run 24/7 for two days and it's not ever going to finish.

How can I tell what is wrong?

Hi cb m., I'd be more than happy to help!

Could you let me know the app's current syncing status, along with the version that you have installed on the device?

Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there.

Syncing status?  Well, like the message states, it never finishes syncing.  So the status is "syncing".

      Dropbox daemon version: 162.3.5408
      Dropbox command-line interface version: 2020.03.04

      I'm on Fedora 37.

Hey cb m., sorry to jump in here, but I wanted to mention that it seems that you're on a beta version of our desktop app.

Could you download and install the latest, stable version from this page and let us know how it goes?

Note that you may need to toggle off the early releases from your account's settings online beforehand.
