Dropbox on two machines at different version after downloading latest DMG
Hi,
I have an M1 Mac mini and an M2 MBA (just bought).
The version of Dropbox running on the MBA is v189.4.8427, the version running on the Mini is v189.4.8395.
However, both were installed from the same (latest) DMG from the Dropbox site.
Both are running Sonoma 14.2.1
A few questions:
1. Why are they different versions, and how do I make them the same?
2. The later MBA Dropbox is reporting Sync issues regarding invalid characters in file names, but the Mini is not. Clicking on each issue in the report ("View File") doesn't do anything. Has anyone seen this, and is it a known bug?
3. How can I find out what the latest stable release of Dropbox is at any given time?
Thanks
Darren.

Hi tenjin, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
You can install the 189.4.8427 version of the Dropbox desktop application from this page, and any new versions of the app can be found here.
Could you attach a screenshot showing the message you're referring to?
This will help me to assist further!
