Forced To Update and Now Can't Put My Folder Back On External Drive!
Opened up my laptop today to find that I was updated to the new Dropbox beta even though I never opted to install it. Now that I've gotten out of the Beta I cannot put my Dropbox folder back to the external drive because the folder already exists there. It is over 1.5TB of data and I work in video production! This is a huge inconvenience and being forced to delete the drive just to re-sync it means that I'm going to lose an entire day of work!
Does anyone know of a way to move the location without having to delete the Dropbox folder and re-sync?

Hi delmixedit, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
What OS version are you running on your device?
Are you on a Mac device and is the Dropbox folder in the Library/CloudStorage location?
This will help me to assist further!

MacOS Ventura 13.4.1
That is where the folder moved to. After leaving the beta it went back to the original location, but the issue is I had it on an external drive.

Thanks for the info, I'd recommend contacting the support team for further assistance on this matter. They should have access to more device-specific information.
