How do I get the desktop app to point to the new Dropbox folder location during installation?
Hi All,
I have a damaged hard drive and have moved dropbox material out to another drive.
Dropbox couldn't do the standard move because of the damaged drive.
How do I point dropbox to the new location without it trying to move from the old location?

Hi PaulSmith, thanks for messaging the Community!
If your Dropbox folder is not in the standard location, and you want the Dropbox desktop application to detect the new location, you can do this during the installation process.
Just for clarification, did you literally copy the Dropbox folder somewhere else, or did you just copy the files out of the location?
