How to make/use the "Documents" Windows folder as the root Dropbox folder ?

Hi,

In the past I used the tool pyDropboxPath to modify the Dropbox folder name (Dropbox -> Documents), but this tool does not seem to be available any more.

Is there a safe way to do it appart using mklink ?

Thank you for help.

Hi jfm77, thanks for posting here!

At the moment, there's not an official way to either use your Documents folder as the root for your Dropbox account, or to rename the folder itself.

You might be able to do this, using a third-party app or an API so I am going to leave this thread open, in order for others to share their suggestions with you.

    Have a lovely weekend ahead,enjoy!

      Hi Megan,

Thank you for your quick answer.

So I keep on looking or waiting for a solution.

      Have a nice week-end too.
