How to reverse DropboxOS upgrade

I recently upgraded Dropbox to a new Mac OS version.  I completely trusted it thinking I would be better for it, but now Photos doesn't work and I am being told I cant save / back up Photos in Dropbox.  Ridiculous!  So is there a way I cant go back to the old Dropbox version and roll it back?

Hey stevenclose, thanks for posting to the Dropbox Community.

I'm sorry to see you're having trouble with the Dropbox for macOS version of our desktop app.

Indeed, Photos not being supported, is one of the expected changes with the new Dropbox for macOS app.

If you'd like to reverse this, you'll need to unlink your computer from your Dropbox and then relink it.

To do so, you'll need to sign out of the Dropbox application and then sign back in.

Just make sure that the Dropbox app is done updating, before you go through with this.

I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.

That is a truly awful update from Dropbox.  So much so that I completely restored and redid my computer again taking me 6 hours+.  Completely happy to do so to have Dropbox functioning the way it used to.  Dropbox you will need to change this asap or risk losing a significant amount of customers quickly.
