I have 2 Dropbox folders. Can I delete the hidden one?
In my Mac Mini there are 2 DropBox folders, the first, which I normally use, under username (267GB); the second, hidden, under username, library, cloudstorage (321GB).
Why are there 2? Can I delete the hidden one?
Thanks everyone.

Hi Sidviciuos, are there any files recently updated in the CloudStorage folder?
Do you have another computer profile on your machine, which could be trying to access that folder?
Could you check to see if CloudStorage is enabled in the Finder settings, like in this article? This will allow you to access it quickly, and to see if it is still active on your machine.

Here is a picture of the preferences folder, but I can't find the location of the sync folder.
I would also like to put "available offline" but it doesn't get checked. - Hannah2 months ago

Hey Sidviciuos, before you delete anything, can you please go to the "sync" tab in the Dropbox app preferences and let us know what the location of your syncing Dropbox folder is?

It takes up a lot of space on my internal disk (321 GB), and space on a mac is expensive,
I would like to delete the second Dropbox folder for this reason, but when I try to delete it it tells me: "Cannot complete the operation because "Dropbox" needs to be downloaded".
It is not a problem of seeing it or not seeing it, it is a problem of space. - Megan2 months ago

Hi there, Sidviciuos, let's jump right into this!
I'm thinking that the case here might be similar to what this article describes.
If you follow the steps there, can you temporarily choose not to show this folder? Also, does it take up space on the device too?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!
