Migration from 2017 MacBook to 2023 MacBook Air 15" problem
When I migrated the files on my 2017 MacBook to my 2023 MacBook Air, Drobox is no longer showing most of my files. On the sidebar, there is the Dropbox Application, but most of my files were found in the Favorites section of the sidebar, in a file named: Dropbox (9-9-23 10/34 PM). What happened to cause the files to no longer show uo in the Dropbox app?

Hey GoodWillTalking, thanks for using Dropbox and posting on our Community.
Could it be that you were migrated to the updated Dropbox for macOS on File Provider on your new computer?
Can you take a look at the app's preferences under the sync tab and let us know the location of your Dropbox folder?
Thanks so much!

When I click on the Dropbox icon, where there are very few files, it tells me that the Dropbox folders are stored here:
/Users/user1/Library/CloudStorage/Dropbox
Then if I click on the file folder in the Favorites Sidebar, then click on Get Info, it shows this:
Macintosh HD>Users>User1>Library>Cloud Storage
Is that what you needed? I'm not very computer literate.

Thanks for this info, GoodWillTalking.
It does look like your Dropbox folder's location is in CloudStorage, which is where it's supposed to be with the Dropbox for macOS on File Provider.
The fact that it's not showing all your files, though, could be related to other things.
Could it be possible that not all the files in your old computer, are synced to your Dropbox account?
If you go to your account online, are you able to see all the files or just the ones that also appear on your new computer?
