Hi dcross,
Thanks for reaching out. Welcome to our community.
We have users using the Mac OS Sequoia. What is the error message you are receiving at the moment?
We can take it from there.

I am also not able to use my Dropbox desktop app. When trying to access, the message is 'The application "Dropbox.app" can't be opened'. I also cannot locate this app in the app store on my MacBook, so it cannot be reinstalled. It was migrated to a new Mac that had Sonoma 15 already installed.

Hi djfriend,
Thanks for getting in touch.
Could you share with us a screenshot of the error message?
Also, is the firewall enabled? In some cases, we had to work around this issue.
Once we have that information, we can go from there. - djfriend1 year agoExplorer | Level 3
The firewall is inactive, and when trying to launch the Dropbox app I receive the message 'The application "Dropbox.app" can't be opened.' The sync to my hard drive does not work.

Returned to finder window after a reboot. Maybe didn't get a clean reboot after installation of OS update. Things seem normal now.

Hi djfriend,
Thanks for confirming that.
I will then pass this to a internal team.
Is it ok to reach out to you to the email linked to this account?
We can take it from there.

there is no error message - just the folders / file names in dropbox are not showing up when searched for in finder

this is also my problem

I ended up deleting Dropbox from my computer and reinstalling it - that seemed to work

thank you-- I think that fixed it.

Yes, that has worked for me, but not as a permanent solution, and I am tired of having to do it.
