Re: The "signature" function in the app on my iPad isn't working, any ideas?
When trying to add a signature to a PDF document in the Dropbox app on iPad Pro (iOS 13.1.2), Dropbox app crashes and I need to restart the app. I am able to access documents fine but as soon as I select to add a signature to a document, the Dropbox app crashes. Was able to add a signature to a document prior to updating to iOS13. I have also updated the Dropbox app to the latest version available through the Apple App Store.

- DB8257 years agoNew member | Level 2I reported this to Dropbox, I can still do it on my Mac and iPhone, so for me it’s only with my iPad running the new iPad os. Waiting for a solution

It seems that I received your reply in the end and I've followed up there.
We will continue looking into this via our email communication as we don't currently have any news on this on our side and need to do some further investigation. Please just keep an eye on your inbox and we'll see what we can do via email for now.

Could you just let us know a bit more info, such as:
- Are you getting any error messages when trying to user the feature? If so, a screenshot (without personal info) would be very helpful.
- Have you ensured that you have the most up to date version of the app?
- Do you get this behavior with every or certain files?
Let us know what you find!

Hello Lusil, Yes it has occurred with every document I have tried so far. There is no message it just shuts dropbox down. I can place text, just cannot sign. Yes I have the most current version of the app.

No error message, only an exit out of dropbox;
I have the last versions dropbox, adobe and Ios 13I get in all pdf files

I'm having the same issue.
It appears to be happening for all PDFs since upgrading to iOS 13 (I'm on 13.1.3) on my iPad Pro 10.5-inch (model MPME2LL/A).
I am on the latest version of Dropbox. The app crashes with no warning the moment I tap the feather icon (under Add Text or Signature).
This is my main purpose for using my iPad, so a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried reinstalling the Dropbox app? If not, please try and let me know if you get the same behavior.

After reinstalling the app, it works for the first signature, but crashes after trying to add a second signature. Upon reopening the app, it crashes as before... as soon as the feather icon is tapped, not even allowing a first signature.
I've reinstalled several times with the same results.

Hi bodell. Sorry to hear the issue is ongoing after trying to reinstall. You can paste a Dropbox shared link to the video, whenever you get the time.
After I see what is going on, I will let you know if we will need to switch to ticket for further troubleshooting.
