The desktop app's icon keeps spinning and the app won't open

I have been trying to get my Dropbox app to work for months. I have followed all the instryctions that the Dropbox team have given including uninstalling and reinstalling. I can open the app on line but the desktop icon spins but does not open when I click on it. This has happened every-time I uninstall and reinstall.

Sorry to hear about this issue, deanculture

From what I understand, you’ve already been in touch with our support team. Can you send me any ticket numbers you’ve received so far?

I'd also like a screenshot of the spinning Dropbox icon that you mention, to have a visual.

Let me know when you’re ready.

I just received an email from Dropbox support with instruction and those seem to work. Thanks for your response.
