The name of my Dropbox folder changed
Somehow one of my users changed the name of my Dropbox from Dropbox to bob smith Dropbox.
Now on the computer my dropbox says Bob Smith Dropbox and all my folders are now in users\myname\bob smith dropbox\companyname and then all my folders are in the companyname folder. How can I change the name back to dropbox? Then I can move all my folders back to dropbox.

Hey bruce21, thanks for posting to our Community today.
From what you're describing, it sounds like you were invited to a Dropbox Business team, could that be it?
Did you receive an email with an invitation to join this company's Business account?
This would change your Dropbox folder's structure to the Business format, which is what you're describing.
Let me know what you find.

Why is this done without warning the user, I have a lot of files that now are indexing unnecesarily and will bring me syncing issues with my 3D Applications, is there a way to have Dropbox Business account without a team name?

If I understand correctly, mdevotion, you're referring to this update to the structure of your Dropbox Business account.
If you're an admin of the team, you should have gotten an email prior to the update, informing you of it.
There's no way to switch back to the old structure, I'm afraid, but I will make sure to pass your comments along to our team about this.
