Updating Dropbox account

Long story short someone added me to a group that messed up my own dropbox and put me on a business trial and renamed my main dropbox folder. i eventually got it removed and my account was restored to an individual plan (apparently i was upgraded to a business plan trial with the addition to a team) and i uninstalled the local dropbox app. However upon reinstalling i still have the issue of the app being grey in my taskbar and stuck "updating my account"


I also launched it and got a permission error despite being the sole admin of the account and the PC.

 

there was a link to an error log but i have no idea what to make of the contents of it. What can i do?
