Windows upgrade and dropbox free account
I happen to have a free dropbox account (pre 2019) with over 10 linked devices, one of these devices has Windows XP set on it.
It's mandatory for me to upgrade my device to something newer, but on the other hand I fear of losing acess to sync this device on this account since post 2019 the maximum devices one can link went down to 3 max.
Is there a way to perform the upgrade and keep my login data or ensure i do not lose sync from my free account to this device?
Many Thanks.
Last Train.

Hi Last Train
There is probably no way to do this I'm afraid. Dropbox is almost certainly going to view it as a new device when you upgrade and therefore it wont re-connect.
