Dropbox Integration with Zoom deprecated.
I discovered after the fact that Dropbox has decided to end its integration with Zoom. Apparently this ended on 5th February 2024. My last Zoom meeting 8 February 2024 did not upload to Dropbox automatically as usual which led me to investigate with both Zoom and Dropbox. I was just informed of the decision on Dropbox Chat. Apparently, I was supposed to have received an email but I can't find one and don't delete such things.
I was advised to report the issue/complaint here. The solution offered was download and Re-upload to Dropbox which I know will work (because I used to do that years ago) but when I have multiple Zoom Sessions in one Day and there isn't time between meetings to do this this is a lot of extra work for something that prior to this change was automatic. I wonder how many others are affected by this and are just as mystified as I am? I may have to consider other options to Dropbox though need to investigate these. Thanks.
Update 15th February 2024: Given the growing interest in this post and issues it is causing I have now put forward it's reinstatement here: https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-ideas/Please-reinstate-integration-with-Zoom/idi-p/751519#M82875

Mine is working but I had to do another step this time that I don't remember doing before. I clicked on Edit settings for zoom and checked the box copy zoom cloud recordings to dropbox. Maybe I did that before and just don't remember. So happy that it's working again and I hope it does for you soon too Holly123

Yup, the integration was deprecated. You could use APIs to write a java script to extract the recording files and upload. If you are not a developer there is a Zoom marketplace app, Salepager that can automate exporting and backing up the Zoom recordings for you.

Hi Sam, I am not able to get Dropbox to download my Zoom recordings to my local hard drive, which is set up within my Dropbox to sync to my Dropbox. So, I see the recordings in the Dropbox cloud, but they are not syncing do the local hard drive. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi there nsrubio, you can try reinstalling the Zoom integration. Here's the App Center page: https://www.dropbox.com/apps/zoom
jwallace913 please try going to Dropbox settings, or navigate to Apps: https://www.dropbox.com/account/connected_apps, select Zoom, and then choose the edit settings for Zoom to enable the auto-save feature by ticking a checkmark. You should see the following message:
Let us know if it works,
Sam

Is this integration still active? I've followed the instructions and recorded a zoom meeting to the cloud as a test. So far still no recording in my dropbox folder.
