Email to Dropbox failed
I got an xxx@addtodropbox.com address. If any email is sent to that address, Dropbox saves its attachments to the Email Attachments folder in my Dropbox account. It works fine, except in one situation.
In my Fastmail email account, I created a rule that automatically forwards certain emails to that addtodropbox address. I confirmed with Fastmail that the emails are being forwarded. Yet the attachments aren't being saved to my Dropbox account. Dropbox must have blocked the emails or didn't see the attachments.
It works if I manually forward the emails, but not if they're forwarded with the rule. Anyone know why that's happening?

Are you sending the messages directly to that email address or did you set up a forwarder from a custom domain? The system will only process messages sent directly to the Dropbox-generated email address. If you've set up a custom email address like dropbox@mydomain.com and have it forwarding to the Dropbox email, it will not work.

Hi anonymous, how large are the attachments you're trying to send via email?
What email program, website, or service are you using to send the email?
Are these images being attached, and do they appear in the body of the email itself (as in, within the text) or are they separate attachments to the email itself?

Thanks in advance!
